About Agra

Agra is a historic place and most importantly, the place of the World Wonder, Taj Mahal. This city is located 204 km away from Delhi. It is located in Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most common tourist destinations in the country. During most of the time in history, Agra had been the capital of Mughal empire than Delhi. Agra fort or the red fort is an important tourist attraction. It is a building made up of red sandstone and marble. It took two generations to build this fort. Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula is a fortified garden on the side of river bank, it is the first tomb of the country that was built with marble completely. Jami Masjid is a wonderful example of Iranian architecture. Sikandra has Akbar’s tomb. It is on the way to Delhi. Rambagh is also an important tourist destination near the tomb of Idmad-ud-daulah. Dayal Bagh is a marble temple which is 100 years old.
